Oval Studio Open Salt Cellar - 3 1/2\" x 2 1/4\" - Handpainted - Unusual Glazing For Sale

Very unusual open salt. The glazing on the interior has the "thin-oil-film-on-water" (or, like the inside of an abalone shell) pearlescent look. The salt is handpainted, with a small design of three abstract shapes, and is gilded on the tips and rim. Made in the USA. Excellent condition (it was in a collection, not in daily use).

Collectors, please note: We are selling off an amazing, enormous private collection of salts that belonged to a relative of ours. These are nearly all in excellent to perfect condition, with many rarities. It will take awhile to get them all listed, as each of them is individually and accurately described, so please check back often. See photos. Non-smoking, pet-free home. Shipped via first-class or priority mail; choose which one you prefer at checkout. Please note that we will be happy to combine shipping on all orders of more than one item. (DV)

Happy collecting!
