Outstanding CONCHO BELT Sterling & Turquoise *Vintage *38 Inches* 6.5 Ounces*
High quality turquoise stones, great patina - a very exceptional concho belt. There are 18 conchos connected by a silver circle; one end has a hook; total length is 38 inches. Each concho is about 1.3 by 0.95 inches. The turquoise stones are 0.3 by 0.2 inches; all are tight in their setting. Only one (the last one that would "dangle" when worn) is slightly damaged (see last pictures).Total weight is approximately 6.5 ounces or 185 grams (sorry for the approximation, it is too heavy for our gram scale). No markings as is typical of vintage Southwestern Native American Indian silver work. Penny is for size reference.
