Original pair WWI Trench Art Brass Shell Casing Vases Pair Floral Engraved.
Both pieces feature detailed flowers and leaves against a finely textured background, with distinctive flared rims and sculpted, fluted lower sections. The craftsmanship and decorative detailing make these unusual pieces appealing to collectors of WWI militaria and antique metalwork.
Trench art is associated with the First World War, when soldiers and craftspeople created decorative objects from military-related materials, including spent shell casings.
Pretty heavy.
