Original WWII German Helmet LINER For Size 64 M35 or M40 Shell. Band Dated 1939. For Sale

Original WWII German Helmet LINER! It is for a size 64 shell. It was taken out of an M35 but with the 1939 date it would also work well for an M40. The leather is pliable and the wear is mainly on the top "layer", so the leather as a whole isn't fragile but certainly shows its age. There is a red stain to the leather and one of the bales has a bend. The outer ring has a good shape; the inner, softer ring, has bends. I think the photos show conditionwell; a good liner if you need to complete a "been there" shell!
