Original WWI U.S. Model 1913 Bayonet U.S. Marked 1913 Date Stamp For Sale

Remington 1913/1917 bayonet. Stamped with a British Crown as they were supposed to be sent overseas to the British Empire. However the US had since joined the war and the bayonets were held back for our own troops. So they crossed out the crown stamp and put US below it. This makes this piece a rare find and more valuable because of its history. It is in very good shape and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
