The rivets I am selling were collected and saved by the original ironworker who removed them from the Golden Gate Bridge during retrofit in the 1970's.
They are original and authentic from the original construction of the Golden Gate Bridge in the 1930s.
They have not been cleaned, polished, or repainted in any way, and you may see traces of the original International Orange paint.
This listing is for one (1) original Golden Gate Bridge rivet similar to the one shown. Sizes vary slightly between 2-4" in length. The shaft diameter is 1”, and the diameter of the head is approximately 1-1/2”.

It spans 4,200 feet, nearly one mile, between the northern and southern peninsulas of the San Francisco Bay, connecting San Francisco to Marin County.
