Original vintage black-and-white photograph of Major Keith Crossman (1929–2014) seated at a desk studying maps or plans. He wears British Army uniform with rank insignia on the shoulders, a wristwatch and wedding ring. The setting appears to be an office or planning room with a window behind him. Approximate size 8 × 6 inches (see tape measure in listing photo). The photograph is accompanied by the same family note that identifies him as the son of Ewart James Crossman and Wilhemina Hayes, who married in Bristol in 1928. Keith later lived in Burpham, Guildford, where he was a prominent community figure; a memorial bench was placed there after his death in 2014. Condition: good. Light handling wear and typical age toning to the borders; image itself remains sharp and clear. No photographer’s stamp visible.
