Original 1927 black-and-white 8” x 10” photograph documenting excavation work for an addition to the Northern States Power Company office in Minot, North Dakota.
The construction identification board in the photograph reads Northern States Power Co., Engineering Contract No. 2645, Addition to Minot Office, Excavation and is dated September 14, 1927.
The scene includes a large tracked excavation machine, construction workers, early automobiles, surrounding commercial and residential buildings, utility poles, and an excellent view of the surrounding Minot streetscape.
A strong piece of early North Dakota utility, construction, industrial, transportation, and local Minot history.
