This is an excellent piece of military history, showcasing classic French state-arsenal craftsmanship. The bayonet features a distinct cruciform (four-sided) blade designed to reverse and store directly inside the forearm stock of the MAS-1936 rifle.

Hilt Collar:** Features stamped partial serial numbers along the outer raised ring and a circled Poinçon (military inspection stamp) on the locking sleeve.
