Original Early 1900's Photo of Pittsburgh - View from Mt Washington For Sale

Acquired from a local Pittsburgh area estate, offered here is an original, one of a kind photograph of the City of Pittsburgh taken in the early 1900's from Grandview Avenue on Mt Washington. Helping to date the photo to the early 1900's is the written note "Pittsburg" (no "h") on the back of the photo which was the "official" spelling of the city between 1891 and 1911. The card on which the photo is mounted measures 8" x 10" and the photo itself measures approximately 6" x 8". Visible in the photograph are the Smithfield Street bridge, the old Pittsburgh post office, the wharf along the Monongahela River, the building of the Pittsburgh, Brownsville & Geneva Packet Company, a steamboat, and several buildings near the wharf that are still standing today. For reference, I have included a photo taken from the same approximate position today and a photo of the old Pittsburgh post office.
