Original Foldout USA Printed Litho Billboard purchased by myself in about 1978 ( advertising the new for ‘78 Corvette Special Anniversary Edition ). This kit measures 22 feet by 11 feet when displayed. It was sold as the same kit that went to billboard companies for advertising, I have to candidly say I am relying on their description, but that was the entire reason for ordering it. There were at least two versions this year, but only one sold to the general public, this being the anniversary one.
Most of this have never been fully opened, and it is important to note there is slight damage to panels two and four. ( discoloration and a small tear in the paper ). These issues are in my photos.
Also panels E and F are missing, I am not sure why.. maybe they were never in the kit from day one. It has been stored in a dry desert home and no mildew. Maybe someone has one of these and needs better condition panels to use. I sincerely hope someone buys this and makes a great art project out of it in pieces or as a huge installation.
Please be aware that there are reproductions being sold, this is an original that those reproductions are patterned after.
