This is an authentic 1909 P&O promotional mailing postcard advertising their European, Mediterranean, and Baltic cruise programs. Printed via vivid color lithography by Andrew Reid & Company, Ltd. (Grey St., Newcastle-on-Tyne), this card features Art Nouveau typography, full cruise itineraries with historical fares, and a striking illustration of the Malwa at sea.Excellent color saturation, rich gold/orange tones, and clean unwritten back. Has some paper loss and flaking along the left front edge consistent with vintage scrapbook album removal. The back of the postcard features a P&O header with original Edwardian ½d Inland Postage stamp box. A truly rare original piece.
