Highway 28 is a north-south route in central Ontario connecting highway 2 (now 401) to Trans-Canada Route 7 in Peterborough and continuing north to Denbigh. this sign is made to the exact 1933 provincial standard that was used until the mid-1950s when reflective signage began to take over.The sign is 12 x 19 inches and weighs a solid 5 pounds, 2 ounces, as it is constructed out of durable, heavy steel, for an appearance that is nearly indistinguishable from the old porcelain signs that were originally used back in the day.
