Beautiful, highly collectible Merck Family's Old World Christmas "Inside Art" Glass Ornament featuring the rare, retired "Skaters’ Waltz" winter landscape design. This piece showcases an incredible, historic technique called reverse internal painting. Skilled artisans drop a miniature, specialized curved brush through the tiny opening at the top of the glass bulb to hand-paint the entire scene backward on the inner surface. The design features joyful townspeople ice skating on a frosted pond near a stone bridge, completed with glittery snow accents.
