DESCRIPTION:
A classroom-ready Bible quiz lot of 137 cards. The main stack is 118 cards from "The Old Testament Book by Book," published by D. L. Woods Publications under the banner "Engraving Heavenly Truths." Each numbered, two-sided card has a question or prompt on the front and the answer on the back. Topics include the number of Old Testament books, the books of Moses, history, poetry and the prophets, and the main events in Joshua. Also included are 19 illustrated Bible picture cards, each with a black-and-orange scene and a question on the front and the answer name on the back. They cover Bible figures such as Esther, Dorcas, the Good Samaritan and Lazarus. A good fit for Sunday school teachers, homeschool families, Bible quiz groups and vintage religious ephemera collectors.
CONDITION: Used, good condition. The cream Old Testament cards show age toning, mostly along the edges. At least one card has light brown spotting along the left edge. The top card of that stack has an applied publisher order label and a small price sticker. The gray picture cards show light surface creasing, small specks, and some edge and corner wear. No card is torn. Please review all photos closely. Contents: No. 22 of the Old Testament set is not included, and the stack contains two copies of No. 23 ("Events in Joshua"). The seller believes this was a printing error, so this lot should not be assumed to be a complete set.
IDENTIFICATION: Old Testament cards identified from the cover card, which names the title and D. L. Woods Publications, and from the numbered card faces. The picture cards are printed "© 1984 S.P. Co." and are a separate design from the Old Testament cards. Best-effort identification; please review photos and confirm before purchasing.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS: Well packaged with fast shipping. Combine shipping on multiple purchases. 14-day returns accepted.
