Nice antique mid 19th century Old Paris / Vieux Porcelain porcelain ink well. Rococo revival / Neo-Rococo hand painted yellow and red apple shape with gold highlighted apple blossom. Unmarked except for an incised number on the base. Probably circa 1830 to 1860. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide x 2 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
