The design is particularly nice: green-and-gold ornate Staffordshire-style border, a central image of the house, and a portrait of Foster.
The mark reads “Old English Staffordshire Ware”, with the JonRoth/Jonroth mark in the center, and underneath it says “Made in Staffordshire, England … Imported Exclusively for My Old Kentucky Home, Bardstown, Kentucky.”
The green, gold and brown border is especially attractive, and the fact that it depicts Stephen Foster\'s home and includes his portrait makes it more interesting to collectors of Kentucky/Stephen Foster memorabilia.
