DESCRIPTION
This vintage postcard features the Old Church of St. Augustine located in Isleta, New Mexico. The illustration depicts the fort-like, mission-style church with its unique architecture and surrounding patio with flowers and old trees. The postcard notes the churchs historical significance dating back to 1605-17, and highlights its over 100-foot length and the church-yard enclosed by a tapia wall. A beautiful representation of historic New Mexico architecture.
