Official HMLA-167 Have Guns Will Travel Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron Warriors Embroidered Patch
Have guns, will travel — the Warriors of HMLA-167 bring Cobras and Hueys wherever the Marines need fire from the sky.
HMLA-167 \"Warriors\" is a Marine light attack helicopter squadron based at MCAS New River, North Carolina, under MAG-29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Warriors operate the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom, providing close air support, armed escort, armed reconnaissance, and assault support to the 2nd Marine Division and II Marine Expeditionary Force. HMLA-167 has deployed extensively aboard amphibious ships and to combat zones, including Operations Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. The \"Have Guns Will Travel\" patch variant captures the Warriors\' ethos — armed, mobile, and ready to go wherever the mission requires. The name echoes the 1950s Western TV show, adopted with the irreverent humor that defines Marine light attack culture.
Perfect For:
HMLA-167 Warriors past and present, AH-1Z and UH-1Y crews, MAG-29 and 2nd MAW Marines, East Coast Skid Kids, and Marine light attack helicopter patch collectors.
Warriors. Have guns. Will travel.
