This listing is for ONE (1) ORIGINAL USGI sling for the M1 Garand rifle (it may work for others also).
I have nine of these available. Some of them are marked MRT (Mildew Resistant Treatment). They are from the 1950's but the dates on most are very hard to make out. They are in varying conditions, but all are sturdy and ready for use!
6 of these have an Anchor on the strap lock meaning it was made byNorth & Judd Manufacturing Company of New Britain, Connecticut. This is a well-known and respected US military contractor.
Some of the buckles show minor surface rust/pitting which should easily clean up but I am leaving them as is to respect their age and use. If you choose to, some rem oil and 0000 steel wool should take it right off. There may be some discoloration on the webbing that could also be cleaned.
These are nice examples of REAL USGI slings and are getting harder to find.
Sling attachment points may have rack #s painted on or taped on (see photos)
