ANTIQUE ORIGINAL U.S. CIVIL WAR "DEATH TO TRAITORS" CUTERY STLYLE BOWIE KNIFE & SHEATH. Measures 13" overall with a 7.75" spear point blade. Very worn and faintly marked "DEATH TO TRAITORS" on one side of the blade. This knife would have been carried by a Union soldier during the Civil War. It has a fancy embossed hollow silver handle with an old period repair at the blade/hilt, but all is tight with no movement. Sheath is black leather with gold embossing. The slogan is in reference to the Confederate states leaving the Union causing the Civil War. See pics for details. Ask questions. See others in the listings.
