This Japanese Set was thought to be made in 1960s in the Showa era, called\'Tetsubin\' in Japan. The kettle can be put on the fire or an induction plate.
Finely cast with a dense‘hobnail’pattern, rounded body and short spout, it has a fitted lid with knopfinial. The Iron overhead handle adds balance to the form, executed in thefinest Japanese tradition. The base bears a foundry mark, however, bears noinscription“MADE IN JAPAN”,indicating this set was not specifically produced for export.

- Condition: GOOD-has been protected over the years with no damage, cracking or repairs; cosmetically slight aging wear to unpolished finish (see photos for condition)
