Nipper Antique Postcard - 1911-1912 - "His Master's Voice" Comic Parody For Sale

Nipper Antique Postcard - 1911-1912 - "His Master's Voice" Comic Parody - This original black-and-white comic postcard, published in 1911 - 1912, features a clever, humorous parody of the famous RCA Victor / HMV "His Master's Voice" artwork. Instead of the iconic terrier Nipper listening to his gramophone, this illustration shows a classic Jack Russell / Fox Terrier sitting attentively at a doorway, staring directly up at a pair of legs—giving a literal twist to the phrase "His Master's Voice". Published by Franklin Printing & Publishing Company, New York. Features their distinctive logo hallmark on the lower-left reverse corner alongside series design code #29. Postmark: Clearly stamped from Eagle Point, Oregon on September 7, 1912, Includes a crisp, green 1¢ George Washington stamp from the famous Washington-Franklin series. Perfect for collectors of Nipper, RCA/Nipper memorabilia, canine comic art, or regional Oregon/Missouri postal history. (203)
