Offered here is the exceptionally scarce Coffin House from The Bradford Exchange/Hawthorne Village Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Special Edition Black Light Village Collection.
Issued late in the collection as Issue No. 27, the Coffin House is widely regarded by collectors as one of the most difficult buildings in the entire Nightmare Before Christmas village line to locate—particularly with its original certificate and fitted packaging still present. It\'s so rare that even non-blacklight collections would benefit from its addition.
CONDITION
The Coffin House is in terrific pre-owned collector condition. The sculpture displays beautifully, with its wonderfully crooked coffin-shaped architecture, twisted staircase, pumpkins, gravestones and elaborate Halloween Town detailing intact.

THE BLACK LIGHT EDITION
This version was produced for The Bradford Exchange’s Special Edition Black Light Village Collection. Its unusual fluorescent coloration and painted accents were created to react dramatically when displayed under the collection’s black-light illumination, while the sculpture remains richly detailed under ordinary room lighting.
Unlike the more commonly encountered early buildings—Jack’s House, Dr. Finklestein’s Laboratory and Town Hall—the Coffin House was a much later issue– a batch of seven houses designed by designer Chris Lauria, and appears on the secondary market only infrequently. Its unmistakable design makes it a centerpiece for an advanced Hawthorne Village or Nightmare Before Christmas collection.

The sculpture will be secured inside its fitted original molded Styrofoam packaging and carefully double-boxed for shipment. Shipping will be insured for the full purchase price.
