Each image you see in the art lights up in sequence of the songs played and actually tells the story of The Nightmare Before Christmas. It does NOT just randomly light up, but has an actual sequence. There is an on and off dial type switch on the side in the back that is a volume control also. The art operates on batteries. I am the original owner.
