This is a very nice example of a T.C. Wheaton Glass Company\'s scientific laboratory reagent bottle. The ground glass stopper dates this bottle between 1938 and the late 1950\'s, after which the company transitioned to a more standardized bakelite and then later plastic teflon coated stopper.
Although this bottle held copper sulfate (according to the label), there is no sign of any chemical residue left inside.
There is no damage of any kind to this bottle and label is in pristine condition. The ground glass stopper likewise is just about perfect and fits tightly. Typically, Wheaton provided just the glass bottle to laboratories who then added whatever labeling described the contents inside.
The bottle itself is just over 6\" high and the stopper installed adds another 1\" or so. Diameter is 2 1/16\".
