Very Nice, HUGE Oversized Vintage Tin Oil Can, c.1920
DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....particularlynice, particularly large vintage/antique tin oil can c.1920-30. Fabricated out of tin, with soldered seams, etc. Has a handle on one side, spout on the other, with open top to put the oil in for transferring. Measures a whopping 12 1/2" high, 7" diameter at the bottom, and 11" from front to back. PROBABLY HOLDS 2-3 QUARTS.
Has great lines and design and proportions. One of the earliest ones I have seen, and certainly the largest!!
In very good condition overall, with nice looking aged, used patina. Shows its use and age and has a nice appearance. Could be used as is in the garage or shop or WOULD MAKE A GREAT DECORATING ITEM IN A VARIETY OF PLACES!!
