Summary: Drawing shows Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, looking toward Horseshoe Falls from the shore. The Terrapin Tower, built in 1833 and torn down in 1873 on the American side, hovers against the edge of the falls. Wallis was a British Commissioner from the Foreign Office to the United States in 1853.
