This is a New in Box Schrade TRT96 Tennessee River Trapper. Two-blade trapper, about 4-1/8\" closed. Brown jigged Delrin, nickel-silver bolsters, brass liners and pins. Master etch SCHRADE SUPER SHARP. Tang SCHRADE+ U.S.A. LTD. Still in the factory bag. White Schrade box marked TRT96, UPC 0 44356 02138 8.
USA-made at Ellenville, New York. That plant closed in 2004. The LTD stamp is late factory / liquidation stock — not current Taylor Brands China Schrade.

Condition Notes
Knife is unused and still in the factory bag. Opened only for these photos. Box is the weak part — paper worn and peeling on one side, dirty barcode label. Knife and bag are the story. Some listings call the TRT96 pick bone; this example is Delrin. Judge from the pictures.
Description & History
George Schrade started in Walden, New York. Imperial Schrade ran the Ellenville plant until July 2004. After the bankruptcy, leftover USA knives marked SCHRADE+ / U.S.A. LTD. were sold out of inventory. That is this stamp.
The Tennessee River Trapper (TRT96) is a full-size 4-1/8\" clip-and-spey trapper with the Super Sharp etch. Same chassis size as the familiar Old Timer 94OT trapper, but it is its own model — no Old Timer shield, no tweezers in the handle. Collectors want the USA LTD pieces because Ellenville is gone and the name on new knives is China.
This one is complete: bagged knife, factory edge, original box. Price the box as worn and the knife as new.
