This is an Amygdule (nodule), which is a gas bubble in Lava that filled with minerals over time.
This one has a shiny Native Michigan Copper mass surrounded by Chlorite matrix.This piece was hand polished on one side and left natural and unmodified all around for a nice contrast.
I break up the Basalt (lava) myself carefully and pry these nodules free.
