NOS Vintage Toshikane Porcelain Buttons Bamboo Boxed Set 6 Tokyo Japan Deadstock For Sale

This is an incredibly rare, museum-quality piece of vintage textile history: a complete, untouched set of six (6) vintage Toshikane hand-painted fine porcelain buttons. This set is in true New Old Stock (NOS) / Deadstock condition, remaining completely sealed inside its original factory clear cellophane wrap over the presentation box. It has never been opened, handled, or exposed to the elements.Historical & Design Details:
• Brand: Toshikane China (Tokyo / Arita, Japan)
• Era: Late 1940s to mid-1950s post-WWII export era.
• Motif: Exquisite oriental bamboo stalks with hand-detailed black leaves and highlighted with genuine fired gold luster accents over a textured, matte white porcelain base.
• Craftsmanship: Famous for their \"Exquisiteness in Carving,\" Toshikane pieces are highly dimensional, miniature works of fine ceramic art rather than ordinary utility fasteners.Condition Components:
• Buttons: Flawless, mint condition under factory protection.
• Packaging: Features the original grey presentation box with the iconic circular viewing hole cutout in the lid. The original paper insert card (\"See Through A Magnifying Glass - Exquisiteness in Carving\") is fully present.
• Cellophane Note: The original clear factory cellophane wrap is still present around the card insert, but please note it is partially broken open/unsealed along the edges due to age-related brittleness. It has NOT been completely unsealed or handled, but the plastic has naturally split over time as is typical for mid-century cellophane. While individual, loose Toshikane buttons are often found on the market for jewelry conversions, finding a fully intact set of 6 complete with its original vintage retail packaging and insert paperwork is an absolute holy grail find for serious button collectors and dealers. Please review the high-resolution close-up photos to appreciate the stunning detail of the paint and gold luster work. This high-value item will be packed with extreme care, heavily bubble-wrapped, and shipped securely in a sturdy box to ensure it arrives in its pristine, undisturbed condition. Please feel free to reach out with any questions before purchasing.
