NATIONAL CASH REGISTER Model 1090 WOOD BASE 1940s Antique VTG Opens US SELLER
CONDITION - Register is in good shape. Unrestored. I have 2 keys, but they don't seem to fit the register. Register is unlocked. Till Drawer opens and is in good shape. I did not take it apart to clean it, so it will be dirty and in need of cleaning on the inside.I am selling this as NOT WORKING, FOR PARTS even though several of the mechanical functions work.
STORY - This was the register in the Western Auto store in Apex, NC for many decades. It was used regularly. I do not know if it belonged somewhere else before, but my friend James Austin ran the store for a long time.
SHIPPING - The register itself weighs 60lbs. If shipped, I will pack it in a heavy duty large box with tons of padding. I should be able to keep the weight to 70 lbs or less, which will not incur extra charges or a special shipping service. I will use FedEx or UPS. Shipping is a flat cost of $150.
