Excellent old figural metal table lighter in the shape of the NASA space shuttle made in Japan in the 1980\'s.
This lighter is cast in a heavy silver finished metal with excellent detail, from its nosecone to its rear cluster of rocket engines. Both sides of the fuselage near the rear read \"NASA - United States\" and the bottom is embossed \"JAPAN\". The lighter mechanism marked \"JAPAN\" is on the base and easily pulls out of its cradle for refueling - right now it\'s empty. It still produces a strong spark and just needs fuel to light.
It stands 4\" tall by 7.5\" long with a 5\" wingspan, and weighs 1.75 lbs.
