Gorgeous Ruby Red Georgian fairy lamp made by Mosser Glass exclusively for Black Cat Vintage, using the classic Viking Georgian honeycomb mold/design.
One of the standout features of this piece is its UV reaction. The rich ruby glass reacts under both 365nm and 395nm UV light, revealing warm glowing tones throughout the thick, dimensional glass. The Georgian honeycomb pattern beautifully concentrates the reaction, producing areas of fiery orange, red and golden color that aren’t apparent under ordinary lighting. Be sure to see the UV photos!
When illuminated from within, the deeply saturated ruby glass takes on another beautiful appearance, producing a warm red-orange glow while emphasizing the bold geometric pattern.
