Montblanc No. 1124 Black Rhodonite Coated Fountain Pen Vintage 1976-80 EF Nib For Sale

This valuable masterpiece was produced for only four years (manufactured from 1976 to 1980), making it extremely difficult to obtain! It\'s a very rare model, uniquely finished in a deep black color with the entire body barrel coated in genuine black rhodonite mineral.

It was originally released at the same price as the Montblanc Meisterstück No. 146! At the time, this Black-Rhodonite mineral processed fountain pen, the No. 1124, was sold at a premium price, approximately four times that of Montblanc\'s bestseller No. 320 and six times that of No. 310. This No. 1124 is indeed the \"first and last\" rhodonite-processed fountain pen Montblanc ever produced, making it an exceptionally rare and valuable masterpiece.

Due to the extremely high manufacturing costs, Montblanc had previously introduced high-grade pens with costly processing, such as the Montblanc \"Titano\" (featuring titanium processing). However, this special version with Black Rhodonite (black rhodonite mineral) surface processing was produced at a very high cost, yielding very little profit for the company.

The body barrel color is the distinctive black rhodonite mineral, or Black Rhodonite color! The luxurious platinum-plated nib is engraved with \"585,\" and its size appears to be EF (Extra Fine). The pin clip on the cap is engraved with \"MONTBLANC GERMANY\" underneath.

This listing is for the Montblanc pen body only, known for its popular light writing feel! As no accessories are available, reference materials from Montblanc\'s original release (as shown in the images) will be included for guidance on ink replacement and handling instructions.
