Model T Ford Tail Lamp Tail Light Jno W. Brown Vintage Antique Auto Taillight For Sale

Description: An all steel tail lamp used on Model T Fords fromaround 1923 thru 1926. It may have also been used on the TT Ford trucks. Themounting stud is on the side which positions the large clear lens toward thelicense plate and the small red lens to the rear. Stamped on the top cap is “Jno.W. Brown Mfg. Co. Model 560 Columbus. O. USA”. Stamped on the back is “Ford-O Brown”and stamped on the bottom of the oil font is the name “Brown”. The lamp stands9 inches high, 4 ½ inches wide and 5 inches deep.

Condition:The lamp is in very good condition. No dents anywhere on the lamp. No rust pitting or damage except some rustholes on the very bottom of the oil font (shown in photos). All glass isgood with no cracks or breaks. Lensdoor open and closes smoothly with a good spring clip. Burner is good with anew wick. Adjusting knob is tight on shaft and bear the original nickel plating.Inside reflector tin is clean and bright. The lamp disassembles easily. Mounting nut and lock washer included.
