Vintage Miniature Peruvian Retablo Nativity Christmas Creche Altar Box Folk Art Signed by the artist Claudio Jimenez Quispe.
This unique Peruvian piece of folk art is handcrafted with beautiful craftsmanship and very detailed in its design. It does have a couple of tiny flaws in the paint that can easily be touched up if desired, but I actually think it adds to the vintage feel of the piece. I have pointed out these flaws clearly in the photos. This would make a wonderful addition to any folk art collection or as a gift for anyone interested in Peruvian culture. This was an estate sale find, and therefore, I do not have any ownership history on the piece.
The item measures approximately 5x4x2" in size and has been meticulously hand painted down to very minute details.
