Set of 2 lovely Excelsior military uniform buttons brass & silver for New York militia. The backs are made of silver. These date from ca. 1820 - 1830, and are stamped "Imperial Standard" on the reverse. They can be used as cuff links for formal shirt cuffs. Beautiful, rare pieces of history.
