Mexican Hand Painted Monkey Oaxaca Pottery Mezcal Bottle Figural Ceramic w Cork For Sale

Hand-painted ceramic mezcal bottle in the form of a monkey, likely Mexican folk art from the late 20th century. This example features expressive facial detailing, incised line work, and layered paint decoration that gives the surface depth and movement. The proportions are balanced and the character is strong — details that separate more thoughtfully executed pieces from common tourist-grade examples.

Originally intended as a mezcal vessel, bottles like this are now widely collected as figural pottery and bar décor. At 8.5 inches tall, it displays well on a shelf, cabinet, or bar cart and retains its original cork stopper.
