Premium Medieval Full Closed Greaves – Steel Leg Armor Guards
Complete your suit of armor and secure your defenses with these meticulously crafted Medieval Full Closed Greaves. Designed to offer full protection for the lower legs, this historical leg harness perfectly balances authentic medieval aesthetics with functional battle field performance.
Featuring an anatomical contour that mimics the natural shape of the calf, these greaves flare beautifully at the bottom to sit comfortably over your period boots without restricting ankle movement.
Key Features
Protection: Unlike standard front-only greaves, these full closed leg guards wrap completely around the lower leg to protect both the shins and calves.
Hinged Easy-Wear Design: Constructed with heavy-duty steel hinges on one side, allowing the armor to open wide for easy putting on and taking off.
Secure Adjustable Fit: Equipped with robust, genuine leather straps and steel buckles on the closure side to ensure a tight, customized, and wobble-free fit during active movement.
Anatomical Shaping: Expertly formed to follow the natural curve of the leg, distributing weight evenly and minimizing fatigue during long hours of wear.
Comfort-Rolled Edges: Carefully rolled borders at the top and ankle openings prevent chafing against your boots or gambeson layers.
