Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Akuma 1:4 Scale Statue – HCG – Low Edition #8/750Condition
Brand new in unopened original manufacturer packaging. Genuine HCG product, ships from the US.Edition Details
Low Edition #8/750. This is a completely sold out and sought-after HCG collectible that was originally available only as part of a set, making individually statues particularly difficult to find.Overview
Hollywood Collectibles Group presents Akuma, the legendary "Great Demon," recreated as an imposing 1:4 scale statue inspired by his appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
Cold, relentless and consumed by the pursuit of ever greater fighting power, Akuma is captured in a powerful combat stance, poised to take on his next opponent. Standing approximately 19 inches tall, the statue conveys the extraordinary physical presence and barely restrained aggression that define the character.
Design & Accuracy
Akuma is depicted in his unmistakable fighting attire, with his massive physique, torn gi, rope belt and wrist bindings recreated in extensive sculptural detail. His characteristic red hair and enormous prayer beads frame a fierce portrait that captures the intimidating appearance of one of Capcom's most formidable fighters.
The wide fighting stance and outstretched arms give the statue an imposing silhouette, while the raised industrial-style display base complements the character without distracting from the sculpt.
Presentation
At approximately 19 inches tall, Akuma has substantial presence even among other 1:4 scale statues. The broad stance makes particularly effective use of the scale, presenting the character as a powerful centerpiece rather than simply an enlarged figure.
Originally offered only as part of HCG's Marvel vs. Capcom 3 set, the statue has long since sold out and is seldom available individually in brand-new unopened condition.
Construction
This museum-quality statue is constructed from heavyweight polystone and individually hand painted to the finest detail, with careful finishing throughout the portrait, musculature, clothing, accessories and display base.Dimensions
