Here\'s a nice and sharp copy ofMarvel Super-Heroes #20 published by Marvel Comics with a cover date of May 1969. This issue features a Dr. Doom cover and solo story – his first!
It is also packed with great classic Golden Age reprints: Sub-Mariner by Bill Everett; Human Torch by Russ Heath and Carl Burgos; and Captain America by a young John Romita. PLUS: The first appearance – in a full-page ad at the back of the book – of Starhawk, a full six years before his 1975 debut in Defenders #27!
This copy has been professionally graded at: Very Fine minus | VF - | 7.5
Grader\'s Notes: This is a clean, flat, tight copy of this 64-page, giant-size, squarebound comic. It has an excellent spine along with sharp edges and corners – with the exception of some wear at the lower right corner of the front cover; also, there are a couple light, vertical, \"thumbing\" creases near the right edge of the front cover. The interior pages are off-white, clean and tightly bound. IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a light, 1/4\" horizontal tape-pull in the corner box just to the right of Dr. Doom\'s \"floating head\".
It is stored in a Mylite2 with acid free back, both from E. Gerber
