The Marines adopted this Arc'terex designed pack back in 2004 and was updated to the Gen 2 variant for sale here in approximately 2005-2006. They are an internal frame 75L pack and are widely considered to be one of the best internal packs ever fielded as a general issue pack. They did not interface well with the issued body armor and were subsequently replaced by the external frame FILBE system after approximately 10 years of service.
