Majestic Theatre, Boston Massachusetts - 1907 Divided Back Postcard For Sale

This is a vintage divided back postcard, unposted, but addressed on back. Postcard features a view of the Majestic Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. Marquee on side of building shows that it is the last week for the production "Fantastic Flora" which was a play that premiered in 1907. Located at 219 Tremont Street, the theatre opened in 1903. It converted to vaudeville and then movies in the 1920s. It shows movies only and was called the Saxon beginning in the 1950s. In the 1980s, the theatre was renovated when it was purchased by Emerson college and is now the Cutler Majestic Theatre, a performing arts center.
