Up for sale is a beautiful Germany, tea strainer, and matching drip cup. The tea strainer features a lovely luster finish enhanced by roses and gold. The edge is fluted with an ornate handle. The matching drip cup fits perfectly underneath the strainer to make a beautiful set. Measurements are approximately 5“ x 4“ x 1 1/2”. The set is in very good condition with light wear. There is a tiny manufacturing line on the back of the handle which can be seen in the photos. This is not uncommon in vintage porcelain items. Please contact me for further information or if you have any questions 😊

Below as a little information about the backstamp:
MW Co. Germany (Mitchell, Woodbury & Co.)If the stamp reads \"MW Co. / Hand Painted / Germany\" or \"M.W. Co. Germany\", this actually refers to an American importer and distributor rather than a German factory.
• Who they were: Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Mitchell, Woodbury & Co. (active under this name roughly from the late 19th century until 1924) imported blank high-quality white porcelain from reputable German factories—most notably R.S. Prussia (Reinhold Schlegelmilch).
• The Backstamp: They heavily stamped the underside with their own distributor mark over or alongside the original German manufacturer stamp. These pieces are highly collectible and often feature vibrant hand-painted floral decorations (like roses or dogwoods) and gold gilt edging.
