This vintage wall sconce features a tubular glass shade paired with brass hardware. The combination of materials and minimalist design aligns with mid-century modern aesthetics.
These sconces are valued for their ability to provide ambient lighting and add a touch of retro elegance to interiors.
The sconce on the left has a crack that goes all the way through but has been re-glued at some point in time.
These were in my 1965 built Florida home bathroom. So they cannot be older than that. So does the other but it's very minor.
Personally, I would just remove them both. They're not essential nor do they take away from the beauty of the amber sconce when the light is turned on
They are both still held together really well! They were in this condition since we removed them from my 1965 bathroom ceiling
Both top pieces are obviously removable; the darker amber colored glass in particular, if you mind the crack.
If you don't mind, i'd suggest some superglue they're beautiful and not really visible ---all you see is a beautiful light hanging down.
Collectors are drawn to the quality of the glass and the enduring appeal of mid-century lighting designs.
