These bookends are in very good vintage condition. They are structurally sound, completely stable, and display beautifully. To ensure full transparency for collectors, please note the following minor signs of age:
- Finish & Edges: Gentle, expected vintage edge wear and tiny finish flakes along the upper ridges, revealing the lighter composite base beneath.
- Surfaces: Minor surface discoloration and light scuffing on the textured reverse sides, consistent with age and handling.
- Bases: The metal tongue inserts show a light vintage patina and minor scuffs from shelf use.
- Felt Pads: Excellent news for your furniture—the original protective brown felt bottom pads remain completely intact and clean, preventing scratches to your finished wood surfaces.
