Vintage Franciscan Hermosa Tile Sample Set – Interpace / Gladding McBean
Original mid-century ceramic tile salesman sample box featuring glazed color samples from the Franciscan Hermosa line produced by Gladding McBean under Interpace.
These presentation boxes were used by tile showrooms and architects to select finishes for residential and commercial projects during the mid-century era.
The set includes numerous glazed ceramic sample tiles in a variety of classic MCM colors including mottled greens, blues, neutrals, and earth tones. One tile is labeled Color H-233 “Inca Green.”
The samples are housed in the original wooden hinged presentation box with printed lid.
A wonderful piece of mid-century design history that also makes a fantastic decorative display object.
