M.A.S.K. #1–4 Complete 4-Part Mini-Series – DC Comics (Dec 1985 – Mar 1986) – All Newsstand Editions
This is the complete original DC mini-series based on the classic 1985 Kenner toy line and animated TV show. Matt Trakker and the M.A.S.K. team take on Miles Mayhem and V.E.N.O.M. in all four issues: “When Opportunity Knox!”, “The Domain of the Dead”, “The Family Jewels” and “The Ray of Doom.” All four are newsstand copies with the UPC barcode.
Condition (raw, ungraded – my honest estimates):
• #1 – VF- to VF. It has one light crease on the right side of the front cover, about halfway down, and the color isn’t broken. Otherwise it’s glossy and bright.
• #2 – VF+ to VF/NM. Sharp and glossy, with very slight cover wrap at the spine on the back.
• #3 – VF+ to VF/NM. Clean cover. A few small factory ink specks on the inside pages.
• #4 – VF/NM. Sharp, flat and glossy.
The pages are cream to off-white, and all spines are tight with flat staples. The photos show the actual comics you’ll receive, so please look at every picture, including the close-up of the crease on #1.
These are a nice copy of the first M.A.S.K. comic series, and interest is up with the new M.A.S.K. comics on the stands.
