Meet Clancy & Blanche, one of Lynda Corneille’s wonderfully eccentric SWAK creations for Character Collectibles.
This oversized ceramic cookie jar features a gloriously round black-and-white striped cat with a pink nose, expressive green eyes, dimensional wire whiskers, zebra-pattern collar and dangling gold-tone bell. Perched on top is a colorful purple, lime green and pink bird with an enormous orange beak and whimsical wire plume tipped with tiny gold balls.
The piece is marked © 2002 Character Collectibles on the underside and bears the recognizable SWAK / Lynda Corneille signature-style mark.
At17\" tall × 7.5\", 8\" this is much more than an ordinary kitchen storage jar, it has serious sculptural presence and makes a fantastic display piece for collectors of whimsical pottery, cat collectibles, SWAK designs and early-2000s character ceramics.
